Supported / Helmed by: The Delhi Biennale and Apparao Galleries
Curator: Sharan Apparao and Ankon Mitra
After the success of the inaugural On Paper of Paper exhibition, the second edition marks an exciting new chapter in India’s exploration of paper as a medium for art, architecture and design. Presented through a collaboration between the India Paper Triennial and the Delhi Biennale, and helmed by Apparao Galleries, the exhibition builds on the success of its predecessor by encouraging greater exchange between disciplines, practices and cultures. Embedded within the Delhi Biennale, it brings together over 50 practitioners from India and around the world to celebrate the creative potential of paper. Architects, artists, designers and sculptors present works that challenge traditional ideas about the material. From immersive installations and sculptures to architectural concepts, experimental techniques and collaborative projects, the exhibition showcases paper as a medium for innovation and expression. More than an exhibition, On Paper Of Paper 2 continues to build a vibrant network and community of paper practitioners while promoting creative dialogue and cultural exchange in India and beyond.
